Kick Off: 7pm.
Let Hoyland know if you can make it - either leave a comment below, email him or tell him some other way. Please note, if your chosen message of communication is pigeon please make sure you ask your pigeon to return to you after delivering the message. His garden is now quite over run by the pesky winged messengers. Thank you.
Gaffer rejects Resignation
December 18, 2007
After what has been described as a ‘woeful’ and ‘awul’ performance by many (well - two) against 4 man Magic Allstars Kev Goodwin, the Saint’s playmaker, stallwart etc has offered his resignation. “I tender my resignation in light of our woeful performance. There is obviously a systematic problem under my leadership a I feel this is my only course of action” said the Concord Legend at the post match press conference.
Hoylandio was missing from the conference because, yet again, he was somewhere else. But SJFC.co.uk managed to catch up with him after what can only be decribed as the best primary school nativity ever. “I think it’s important to remember that the Hoity Toity Angel has learned a valuable lesson tonight and that it’s what’s inside that is important. Hang on. That was the nativity story. Football? Right. Yes. Of course I won’t be accepting Goodwin’s resignation. He is an essential part of the squad both on and off the pitch. He, like the rest of the players that have actually been around this season, is just in need of a bit of a break and I am sure the next couple of weeks will do him the world of good. We can hopefully go away, think about what it means to draw with only four men and come back in the new year ready for a promotion push that, while unlikely, may still be possible.
Anyway - if I accept that Goodwin has to go in light of a systematic problem under his leadership surely I would have to resign too - seeing as there has been a systematic problem under my leadership for the last 6 seasons. No - I can not set that presidence.”
In other news Hoyland has denied that the SJFC board made a move for a new Italian manager, offering £6.5 million for his services. “That’s the England team you numpty, we only play five a side and it doesn’t really matter.”

Unforced Errors: 1
December 14, 2007
Right.
Due to a slight technical hitch that may have involved the deletion of the entire SJFC database some of the pages on this site have gone. And by some this author actually means all.
Er. SJFC can do nothing other than apologise for this error. And also ask, slightly sheepishly, if anyone out there has any of the match reports or anything like that saved on their hard drive. If they do it would be great if they could email them through to imacompleteidiotandibrokethewebsite@stjb.org.uk
Work is going on late into the night to fix the problem but actually more time is probably being spent on www.elfyourself.com than actually trying to find a solution to the problem. If you’re at all annoyed about the loss of information from this site you should just go and have a look at that!
Saint’s walk to victory
December 11, 2007
Quite literally. Piffle didn’t turn up. Which was probably a good thing as it was slippy and we weren’t very good in the kick about that we had instead of playing.
The walkover pushes us up to third place and if we fail to drop anymore points this season we would make the second promotion place. Which would see a return of the yellow kit. So maybe we should aim to drop a few points and then we can wear green next season.
